Glastonbury is a town that holds so much scope, for healing, for ritual, for exploration, for the imaginal dance of becoming aware of the Western Mystery Tradition. Although many of the legends associated with this town, probably occurred in other parts of Britain, in Ireland, or in Gaul (France), Glastonbury holds a unique memory map for these traditions. It is also a magnetic field, where ley lines cross, and where sacred wells welcome people of all faiths and spiritualities and anyone desiring to embody dynamic, sensual, peace.

Expect some POTENT ritual ... an unforgettable, unique experience for yourself, and for the collective.

For me, to be on the ground there is to come face to face with:

🌀 a story that was squelched by the dominant church narrative

🌀 the painful but also mysterious superseding of epochs (particularly the Picsean Age)

🌀 the birth of the Anglican Church, and the dissolution of the monasteries

🌀 legends held by common folk throughout the ages, that have for the most part been chuckled at by establishment gatekeepers

🌀 countless opportunities to ritualize and alchemize all you carry in your own body... the conflicting ancestors, the spiritual customs at odds with each other, and also the beauty and mystery that can be found there

🌀 you will encounter a sacred feminine vein inside of the Christic Path that was very clearly pushed out, suppressed, and mocked by many in powerful positions, for various reasons.

🌀 Perhaps most importantly, you will be given ample opportunity to really have a felt sense that Avalon, Jerusalem, all of these locations, are to be found first in the Imaginal... that is, the temple of your own heart... and THEN brought back up and out into this material realm. If Avalon or Jerusalem or other sacred locations become merely 3D places to defend, these physical locations become a place for fundamentalism to thrive, and for the seeds of war, inner violence, and possession, to cycle on and on. In other words, sites are sacred... and we desecrate them with our possession of them.

We have lunch somewhere on a sidewalk patio (if we're not in our raincoats!), and we visit locations that carry so much fodder for the work we are doing. 

We will remember... and we will also recognize that we aren't trying to get back to the past so much as seek what so many of our ancestor's sought against incredible odds - a breathtaking mystery, that will not be colonized, at the heart of all things.

We go back to our countryside home to partake in an organic, locally sourced supper, paired with local cider.

At night, we integrate our day with ceremony, either by the fireplace or around the fire outside. 

Each location we visit will be foundational for personal work, and also collective work.

These pilgrimage points hold special energy for those ready to embody the mystery.

The retreat will culminate with an evening concert of Cianalas/Tãsknota at St. Margaret's Chapel, dedicated to Mary Magdalene in the 1400's.

Leading up to "Hidden", included in your purchase, you will have the option of receiving supportive, wise, exercise check-ins via the Voxer app, directly from Alana, who will be preparing herself in an integrated physical way, to walk and lead for this retreat. This would come in the form of a gentle check-in each morning, when she has walked, hiked, cycled, done yoga, etc...
